How GST Core handles user and device data
This policy explains how GST Core treats information in the Android app, the Windows desktop tool, and the related website.

GST Core is an educational and workflow-support product created by Amak Sevn. This Privacy Policy applies to the GST Core Android app, the GST Core Windows desktop software, and the website at gstcore.in.
Information GST Core does not intentionally collect
GST Core does not require account creation for the Android app and does not intentionally collect, store, or sell personal information on its own servers for normal in-app use.
Information stored locally on your device
The Android app may store basic local app data such as bookmarks, onboarding state, preferences, and quiz progress so that features work properly on your device. This information is stored locally and is not used by GST Core to identify you personally.
Desktop workflow files
The Windows desktop software works with files that you choose to open, such as GST-related Excel sheets, PDFs, and related working files. Those files are processed on your device for the feature you use. GST Core does not claim ownership of your documents and does not use them for advertising or sale.
External websites and links
GST Core may open external websites selected by the user, including GST-related public reference resources. Those third-party sites operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Children's privacy
GST Core is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through a GST Core service, they may contact the developer.
Advertising and analytics
The Android app does not use Firebase-based analytics or chat services in its current release build. The website may use limited third-party services associated with website operation or advertising, and those services may apply their own policies.
Data sharing
GST Core does not sell personal data. Information may only be shared if required by law, to protect rights and security, or when a user intentionally interacts with third-party websites or services.
Data security
Reasonable efforts are made to keep GST Core products and website resources secure. However, no software, local device environment, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Policy updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. The latest version will be posted at gstcore.in/privacy.
